Some bachelorette parties start with a glass of champagne. This one started with a blindfold, a yacht, and a surprise waiting at sea.
We were contacted already in May by the bride-to-be’s sister, who wanted to organize a very special all-day bachelorette party in Chalkidiki for her sister in August. Together with the bride’s friends, we planned every detail and prepared Roxani for a full day of celebration from morning until sunset.
The yacht was transformed for the occasion with balloons, banners, a long bridal veil running along the railing, and even a full-size cartoon cutout of the groom-to-be. Everything was ready.
Except the bride didn’t know where she was going.
She arrived at the marina blindfolded and was guided aboard Roxani. We cast off the lines and quietly left Porto Carras, keeping the surprise alive. Only after we had reached the open sea did we finally remove the blindfold.
The surprise was revealed with a big bang — and the party started immediately.
From there, the day became a journey from one beautiful anchorage to the next. We first headed towards the southern cove of Agios Kyriaki, where the ladies enjoyed their first swim and settled into the rhythm of a perfect summer day at sea.
Next came the Spalatronisia islets, with crystal-clear water, sunshine and plenty of space for swimming, snorkeling and paddleboarding. The music was already turned up, drinks were flowing, and the cockpit and deck quickly became the center of the celebration.
We continued north to Aretes Beach, just north of Toroni, stopping near its lively beach bar before sailing on to Porto Koufo. Inside this spectacular natural fjord, we anchored at the southern beach for another relaxed swim and some time in the sun.
But there was still plenty of day left.
We continued with two more stops in beautiful secluded coves, each one offering another chance to swim, paddle, snorkel, sunbathe — or simply dance on deck with a drink in hand.
All day long, Roxani’s sound system provided the soundtrack. There was dancing in the cockpit, laughter across the deck, swimming and splashing in the water, and the unmistakable energy of a group of friends celebrating together.
As the afternoon slowly turned into evening, we raised anchor for the final time and sailed into the sunset.
The bride-to-be had started the day blindfolded.
She ended it surrounded by her friends, music, sunshine, the Aegean Sea and an unforgettable bachelorette adventure.
With the last light fading, we sailed back towards Porto Carras — bringing a full day of surprises, laughter and celebration to a perfect end.
